I was pleasantly surprised, and it was not at all what I was expecting.
I was surprised by Chetana’s knowledge of the area and the time and effort she put in to give us all an insight into the spiritual and cultural side of the Balinese people.
Every day was filled with new and exciting experiences, with enough downtime to fit in daily massages and pool time.
Having done years of yoga in my pre-children days, I was having quiet palpitations when thinking about the retreat and how out of shape I was.
But from the first class right through to the end of the retreat, you knew Chetana was giving 150% of her time and effort to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of the participants.
She was always mindful of our needs, expectations and fitness.
Each individual received tailored attention within all classes so that everyone could enjoy at their own level — and Chetana took into account the activities of the day, so as not to over or under exert.
What an adventure — Bali like I have never seen it before.
I will definitely go back and am looking forward to another cultural and spiritual adventure with Yoga for the Soul Retreats and Chetana in Nepal or India.
