Magical First Moments

FORT Kochi

On Day 1: Arrive, unwind, and settle in

We gather in the afternoon for the official welcome, followed by a brief orientation and a gentle yoga and meditation class to help you unwind after your travels.

As the sun sets, we come together for a rooftop dinner where you begin to connect with your fellow travellers under the warm Kerala sky. Then it’s off to bed for a deep, restful sleep to prepare you for the journey ahead…

Day 2: See beyond the surface

After a rejuvenating morning yoga and meditation practice and a nourishing breakfast, we begin exploring Fort Kochi at a soft, spacious pace.

Restored tuk tuks with friendly English-speaking drivers guide us through this vibrant port town. The day invites you to see beyond the surface, beginning with a visit to Dhobi Khana, (local laundry steeped in tradition).

We pause at a humble tea shop, sip a fresh chai, and stroll through the artisan-lined streets of Mattancherry, where craftspeople create beauty from cloth, wood, and metal.

As we wander the lanes, the colours, sounds, and aromas of daily life envelop you, inviting you into the rhythm of Kerala.

This is cultural storytelling, not just sightseeing. It is an invitation to slow down, listen, and absorb the quiet richness of this land.

Day 3. Rub shoulders with the locals

We rise early and take the ferry across the bay to Ernakulam, where the city slowly stirs to life. Our guide leads us through Broadway Market, one of Kochi’s oldest and most colourful morning markets.

You’ll weave through narrow lanes bursting with baskets of fresh flowers, glistening vegetables, and fragrant spices. The energy is vibrant but unhurried, a perfect window into everyday life in Kerala. You’ll witness the rhythm of local trade and the subtle poetry in ordinary moments.

We head to one of Kochi’s most beloved Thali restaurants for a traditional South Indian lunch served on a banana leaf — colourful, flavourful, and made to be savoured slowly.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Later, we gather late afternoon for a deeply restorative yoga class before heading out to enjoy the rhythms of Southern India’s night life.

Day 4, 5 & 6: Breathe in the stillness of the mountains

After three days in Kochi, we journey inland to the misty hills of Munnar.

The road winds gently upwards through lush greenery, past waterfalls, tea plantations, and spice gardens, offering glimpses of the landscape that has long nourished body and spirit.

Our retreat in Munnar is nestled among cardamom-scented forests and rolling hills. Here, you’ll stay in beautiful cottages on a peaceful working estate — a sanctuary of stillness and nature.

Life slows even more as you settle into this mountain rhythm.

For three nights, you’ll have space to rest and wander. Mornings may begin with birdsong and yoga, afternoons might include deepening meditations, gentle walks through tea trails, a visit to a spice garden, or simply time by the pool with a good book. Evenings bring warm gatherings, perhaps a tea tasting, or sharing stories under the stars beside a crackling fire.

It’s a pause before we step into the deepest part of our journey — the Ayurvedic healing experience that awaits you next.

Lets Go Cruising

relax on a houseboat

On Day 14 & 15: Float, reflect, and simply be

You’ve returned to yourself. And what better way to honour this gentle realignment than by spending one of your final days in India drifting through the serene backwaters of Kerala?

Aboard a traditional houseboat, you float unhurriedly past lush riverbanks, taking in scenes of daily life unfolding at the water’s edge. Between nourishing meals, yoga, and meditation, time slows to match the rhythm of nature.

The sunset takes your breath away.

And for the first time in what feels like forever, you feel wholly alive — joyfully connected to the flow of life within and around you.

Day 16 Heading Home — or Deeper In

After one final restful sleep, it’s time to say goodbye or perhaps, just see you later.

You may choose to head to the airport, heart full and spirits lighter, ready to carry this experience back into their daily lives. Or choose to linger a little longer, to explore more of Kochi, the wider Kerala region, or even other parts of India.

Whether you stay or go, something has shifted. You return home not just with memories, but with a renewed sense of clarity, vitality, and connection — to yourself, to nature, and to the deeper rhythms of life.
