And why the answer is usually a gentle and joyful “Yes.”
Over the years, I’ve heard so many women say something like, “I’ve been wanting to do something like this for years, but…”
That “but” is usually followed by one of these very common questions—and I completely understand each one.
Joining a retreat, especially when you don’t know what to expect, can feel like a big step. So I wanted to take a moment to answer the top six questions I get asked the most—honestly, simply, and from the heart.
If you’ve been sitting on the fence, wondering if this is for you, read on…
1. Are the retreats full of young, bendy women in crop tops?
Not at all. My retreats are specifically created for women 50+—those who’ve lived a little (or a lot), experienced the ups and downs of life, and are now seeking something deeper.
This isn’t about perfect poses, it’s about a meaningful pause. It’s about inner stillness, connection, and deep self-care.
You’ll be surrounded by like-minded women walking a similar path, many of whom are craving rest, clarity and meaning in their next chapter of life.
2. Do I have to share a room?
No siree — this is your holiday.
Most women who join me on retreat choose to have their own room. It’s your time to rest,
reflect, and not have to worry about anyone else's snoring or sleep routines.
That said, if you’re coming with a friend and want to share, or you’d like to be matched with
another lovely guest, I’ll always do my best to make that happen.
Just so you know, the price difference between sharing and having your own space is usually
quite minimal — I simply pass on the difference the resorts charge me. No mark-ups, no
surprises.
3. What if I’m coming on my own?
You’re not alone, most women do.
Around 99% of the women who come on my retreats arrive solo. And almost every one of them leaves with new friendships, a sisterhood and soulful connections.
Before the retreat even begins, you’ll be invited into a private WhatsApp group where you can meet others, ask questions, share your excitement—and often, women organise travel together or meet for dinner on arrival.
So while you may arrive on your own, you’ll never feel alone. From the moment you book, you’re guided and supported every step of the way.
4. I’m not flexible—will I be able to do the yoga?
Yes, absolutely.
The yoga is gentle, accessible and deeply nourishing. It’s not about touching your toes—it’s about releasing what’s weighing you down.
We move slowly and mindfully, allowing the body to soften, the breath to deepen, and the nervous system to settle.
Many of the real benefits aren’t physical, they’re emotional and mental: less tension, better sleep, a quieter mind, and a more spacious heart.

5. I’m not experienced… or I’m a yoga-Meditation teacher—will it
still suit me?
Yes and yes.
I welcome everyone from absolute beginners who’ve never done yoga, to experienced teachers with decades of practice.
Because it’s not about headstands, splits or mighty backbends. It’s about pausing, reconnecting, and finding your way home to the woman you love to be.
As many of my guests have said:
“Chetana, this is so much more than a yoga retreat. It’s a journey back to myself.”
This is a space for seekers—women who are longing to reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way, and to be part of a beautiful, supportive community.

6 . What kind of yoga is it, really?
This is one of my favourite questions, because it opens the door to something so much more than most people expect.
Yes, there is yoga postures, but YOGA also includes breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, Yoga Nidra, joyful chanting, self-enquiry and so much more…
The kind of practices that reach beyond the body and touch the soul.
As a Mental Fitness Coach, I also weave science-backed tools throughout our time together—both in our group sessions and even through the excursions—helping you release stress, anxiety and overwhelm in a way that feels practical, embodied and lasting.
You’ll leave feeling not just rested, but renewed, clear and confident—ready to carry that peaceful strength back into your daily life.
This isn’t just a retreat. It’s a sacred pause. A deep breath. A journey of self-care, self-love and self-respect.
7. I’m so busy. The idea of organising everything is just more
stress.
This one comes up a lot. And I hear you, life is full. But let me ease your mind: I’ve got you.
You simply book your flights, and I take care of the rest. Airport transfers, accommodation, nourishing meals, daily practices, excursions… even reminders about what to pack.
Every detail is lovingly planned so you can finally exhale. It’s stress free and designed to support you from the moment you say yes.
8. Is there a payment plan available?
Absolutely — and at no extra cost.
I know that saying yes to a retreat is also saying yes to yourself… and sometimes, finances
need a little breathing space to catch up.
That’s why I offer flexible payment plans with zero added fees. You can choose your payment
option directly on the retreat booking page — it’s all set up for you.
And if you have any questions or would like a little guidance, just reach out here, I’m always
happy to help.
