  • Calm Your Mind

When you’re overwhelmed by your responsibilities and focused on meeting the needs of others, it’s hard to take stock of whether your own needs are being met. That’s why the first step to living a fulfilling life is to slow down and give yourself the space and time to be aware of what needs are not being met. I speak from personal experience when I say that with calm comes clarity!

  • Be Intentional About Every Part of Your Life

Have you ever noticed yourself functioning on autopilot? I mean when your daily life consists of going through the motions without feeling a sense of control, purpose, or joy? Setting intentions can be a powerful way to build the life you want. You can do this by meditating on your intentions, writing them down, or even sharing them with someone close to you to or a coach to hold you accountable.

  • Visualise the Life You Want

Visualisation complements intentions to help you create a fulfilling life in which your innermost desires are aligned with your day-to-day actions. This involves choosing one of your intentions about a specific aspect of your life (it might be related to your relationships, your health, your career, or anything else you’d like to work on) and imagining in detail what your life will feel and look like when that intention is accomplished. This exercise can be incredibly grounding and motivating so that you can change limiting beliefs and patterns of behaviour that have been holding you back.

  • Try the SWAN Technique

    SWAN meditation is a powerful method that helps you gauge whether the way you’re currently living is aligned with your core values. It does this by examining your strengths, weaknesses, ambitions, and needs. This is a deep and effective process that helps you examine different aspects of your life and set intentions.
