Sahasrara Chakra

Sahasrara Chakra

Sahasrara — the crown chakra. It’s known as the seventh chakra, but it’s not really a chakra at all. It is the culmination of the six chakras together:

• Mooladhara

• Manipura

• Anahata

• Vishuddhi

• Ajna

Sahasrara connects us with divine, infinite intelligence.

Take Your Yoga Off the Mat: An Introduction to the Itties

During this uncertain time, more than ever, our yoga practice has a LOT to offer us. The challenges we’re facing are various and different people will, of course, be suffering in different ways and to different degrees.

But if you practice yoga, or are interested in it, now is a really good time to find new ways of taking your yoga off the mat and integrating it into your way of life. The Crucial Importance of Self-Care While Working from Home

Home-working brings all kinds of benefits — but it has its downsides too, and it’s vital to take good care of your mental and physical health.

Family Gatherings and Lists of Gifts: Mindfulness for the Holidays

But first, have a quick read of this blog post: An Introduction to the Chakras. It’ll give you a good grounding in the basics so that you understand what the chakras are and how they influence you.

Becoming The Witness

Becoming The Witness

One of the most important skills you develop through yoga and meditation practice is witnessing. By learning how to be aware in every moment, you also learn how to observe.

Most of us place judgements on everything, all the time. We judge other people. We judge our circumstances. We judge external events; and perhaps most importantly, we are constantly judging ourselves.
